El proyecto Equipos B\u00e1sicos de Salud (EBS) se puso en marcha en el municipio de Palmar de Varela para fortalecer la atenci\u00f3n primaria en salud y garantizar acceso equitativo y oportuno a servicios esenciales de salud para el beneficio de toda la poblaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En un acto de apertura de esta estrategia la gerente del Hospital, Fanny Rua Borja junto al alcalde municipal, Jose Junior R\u00faa le dieron la bienvenida a los profesionales que estar\u00e1n en el territorio haciendo el trabajo preventivo e hicieron al tiempo un llamado a los hogares palmarinos para que abran sus puertas para recibir toda la atenci\u00f3n en salud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Los equipos b\u00e1sicos har\u00e1n visitas domiciliarias, seguimiento a pacientes con enfermedades cr\u00f3nicas, atenci\u00f3n materno-infantil, campa\u00f1as de vacunaci\u00f3n y promoci\u00f3n de h\u00e1bitos saludables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Con la puesta en marcha de este ejercicio, sin duda alguna se atender\u00e1 con mayor oportunidad la salud y el bienestar de la comunidad, especialmente en \u00e1reas con barreras geogr\u00e1ficas, sociales o econ\u00f3micas que limitan el acceso a servicios m\u00e9dicos de calidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
